Marmy Spillman Visit

Two weeks ago (on May 14th), Grandma Spillman made her second trip down to see how much Tilly has grown.  Tilly greeted her with smiles and coos like a good little 6 week old should!  Tilly also really enjoyed her trips to Mikuni's, Noodles & Co., and Pink Berry... as did grandma.  And her trip wouldn't have been complete without Tilly's first trip to REI.  See the rest of the pictures on the post page!

Once a baby...

Since we were all once little bundles of joy, we thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and see what we looked like as babies. Surprisingly, we looked just like Tilly. Who would have guessed!

Mother's Day

Being new to this area, Tilly really wanted to explore the history of her Sacramento area homeland. So for mother's day we decided to surprise mom with a picnic in old Sacramento. Tilly enjoyed the old wooden sidewalks, the classic brick buildings, and the lowrider Cadillac with hydrolics. Who knew that Sac had such diversity back in the day.  See more pictures here.

Whole Earth Day

Happy Mother's Day... to the earth.  Today, Tilly got her first glimpse into the world of hippies and bobbed her head in perfect rhythm with the drum circles.  She even proudly displayed her tie-dyed blanket (from Great Aunt Louise) over her stroller.  While weaving through the crowd of dancing earth worshipers, we met up with Tilly's new best friend Vivienne and her parents Mark and Alicia.  We all had a great time and look forward to next years festivities.  Click "Read more" below for the rest of the pictures!

Tilly's First Modeling Gig

First Smiles!

So how do you tell the difference between practice smiles (when a baby is peeing or gassy) and real genuine learning to express happiness smiles?  Well I'm pretty sure we know the difference now!  We picked up the camera just to see if we could record her doing something cute and BAM!  Cuteness overload!  This morning, at 5 weeks old, Tilly gave us some real genuine happy smiles!

Aunt Holly Comes to Town

Aunt Holly was only in town for a short time, but she got tons of Tilly time.  Unfortunately, the elusive first smiles didn't make an appearance while she was here.  We did have some practice smiles, but those just aren't as fun.  See the full post for more pictures with Holly.

Super Seepies

Auntie Holly came to town this weekend and Tilly was great.  At one point after eating, she got really tired.  Here's a video of Tilly passed out.  So seepies!
